Exchange and Returns

Cooling-off Period

At Koopman Hengelsport we maintain a 14 day cooling-off period. This means when you are not happy with one or more of the products you have received you can return these to our shop within 14 days.

Refund

When you return a product within the 14 day cooling-off period you can chose another product (exchange) or you can receive a refund. In this case we will attempt to use the chargeback functionality of our payment partner Mollie. When this is not possible we will transfer the refund payment to your bank account.

Returns in person at our shop

You can return your products in person at our store. Please bring your order reference number with you, for example a print out of the original order confirmation email.

Returns via post

  • Ensure the product meets our returns policy
  • Phone us or send an email to info@koopmanhengelsport.nl and clearly mention the reference number of the original order, product details, reason for return and your address and contact details (telephone and/or email address).
  • Include the relevant return details (reference number and your details) with the oriignal product in the parcel.
  • Package your order in a sturdy box for example so that everything arrives back to us in good condition.
  • Send the package via PostNL in The Netherlands or a reliable courier service when you are located abroad. A parcel tracking service is recommended.


Returns Policy

  • The 14 day cooling-off period commences as soon as you have received the product.
  • Products need to be returned in their original packaging.
  • Products need to be returned in a new / resellable condition.
  • Products such as bait in bags or buckets and liquids in bottles can only be returned if these have been unopened.
  • Gift cards, DVDs and magazines can NOT be returned.
  • Postage charges for returns via post need to be paid for by the customer.
  • Until the product arrives back to us safely you will be responsible for loss or damage. That is why good packaging is required and we recommend to only return a product with proof of postage.
